AutisAwsome's Gaming Progress List
OK so I haven't been playing my games so much recently with a lot going on and generally being sort of down and in a rut in life but now I feel like I am ready to play again and get myself out of this always lazing about and doing nothing thing. Gaming is my ultimate hobby and I don't wanna give it up! so I am going to be using this topic as a way to keep track of my gaming progress and I will update each day with what I have done so far in a game. I will aim to try and 100% complete every game I play. You are welcome to join in on this and post your own gaming progress in this topic and/or discuss each others progress in gaming I can always keep track of my posts through my profile so I don't need this topic to be tidy. Just go crazy!
Only question I have is...what game should I start with? A game I have played already or a game I haven't played? And what type of game? I don't wanna start with anything too hard as I wanna start a little easy on myself. What do you think?

Re: AutisAwsome's Gaming Progress List
i think you should play a game you've already played that you know you like. if you're gonna for completions sake then maybe you should start with a short game that you've not bothered to complete yet like a platformer or a game that's got a short story and many side quests like GTA. Unless those games are too frustrating and difficult to finish. Personally i think pokemon would be quite interesting

ah pokemon. good choice I was considering that one and since you agree I think I may have a go. I haven't played my pokemon x much yet so I think I may do that one. its colourful and fun and it has a very simple completionist goal. gotta catch em all!

Re: AutisAwsome's Gaming Progress List
I have started today for half an hour (I didn't end up with much time lol ) but I have finished the tutorial basically. I will upload a video of it soon. its all gonna be on my youtube channel
Re: AutisAwsome's Gaming Progress List
I subscribed to your Youtube channel! I'll be checking out your videos for sure! I usually watch videos at work, lol, well listen and watch a little. I havnt played much Pokemon X, i think i only made it out of the first little area and caught a few Pokemon. X was actually the first Pokemon game i bought since Red, Blue and Yellow first came out!
I was playing some Boxyboy today for the first time! Just got it in the mail. Its a puzzle game for Turbografx where you move boxes around to try and get them all to fit in the right spot. Pretty fun and a little challenging at times. Made it to level 25 and had to take a break. Game was starting to hurt my head, lol. Gonna play a little DS now though, gonna try out Ivy the Kiwi which i havnt played yet.

thank a lot! I haven't played much pokemon x either so this is the first time in a while. I played just about as much as you said before so I started again as I might as well I like Pokémon Diamond the best and have played it TONS of times over all the way and have enjoyed a large amount of pokemon black as well but I haven't played much other ones since coz I just lost track I guess
I love the box art for this thing lol looks like an interesting game. I think I have played a bunch of games inspired by this but not this one. I am terrible at those types of games I might give it a go at some point though Also interested to know if you got the real turbografx console and game box like this or you got it on virtual console.
this looks like an interesting game. I think I saw it on offer at some point but I didn't end up picking it up. You will have to tell me if it is good!

Re: AutisAwsome's Gaming Progress List
Its ok so far. It actually reminds me most of Kirby Canvas Curse in that your littlw guy is already heading in a direction and you gotta draw lines or in this case vines to help him get thru the level. I only played the first 2 levels though and crashed out! I've been on sort of an obscure DS kick lately, picking up a bunch of fun weird little titles!
I do have the orginal Turbografx system and game, lol, i dont have the outer box for Boxyboy though but wish i did, i just have the jewel case, manual and hu card. I have about 30 other Turbo games all complete with outer box tho! I love some of the art for those games but some are god awful! My favorite Turbo cover art is my avatar pic! Maybe I'll start a Turbo thread here and post some pics once im able to post links!
Edit* Boxyboy definitely has alot of similar games and it wasn't the first one like that but ita a good one! Ive been wanting to pick up that new homebrew from Khan, The Incident which is game very similar to Boxyboy.

I don't actually know what a turbografx is. Is it similar to a SNES? I am not very technical so it best to compare it to something and that is the closest thing I know I am not very familiar with the old consoles coz it was before my time
Re: AutisAwsome's Gaming Progress List
the turbo's from back in the day when third party hardware companies ruled the market. screw nintendo, there were way better things out.

Re: AutisAwsome's Gaming Progress List
Yeah, it was out when Nintendo and Sega were battling it out during the late 80s right before SNES came out. It just couldn't hang though and wasn't around in America very long. In Japan it had a decent life though with about as many games as Super Nintendo. In America i dont even think it had 150 games between the regular Hu Cards and CD games. Its a very neat little system though with alot of great exclusives especially if you're into Shoot Em Ups. The system was actually put out by Hudson Soft who makes Bomberman so alot of the games Hudson put out for it are great! I'm actually pretty new to the system. Never had one growing up and just got into it about a year ago when i sorta wanted somethin new and different. Had my eye on em for a few years but was turned off by all the different versions of PC Engines and Turbo systems it took me a while to wrap my head around everything and decide how to approach it. In the end i just went with the regular US Turbografx. I do still want to either pick up a Turbo Duo or PC Engine Duo RX so i can start picking up Import Turbo CD games. I do have the Turbo Express which is pretty cool tho! Its their Handheld which actually plays the console games. The games themselves are actually only about the size of a credit card which is pretty neat!

I havnt actually played either of those but I've played a lot of Bomberman 93 on Turbo which is awesome! I gotta say, my favorite Bomberman is Saturn Bomberman! The adventure mode is top notch and the multiplayer is at its best in that 1! Only one in the series you can play with up to 10 people at 1 time on the same TV and system! Pretty Radical! I have enough controllers to play 10 player but need 1 more Multitap to pull it off. I think I can only do 7 player at the moment which is still rad!
