I don't know when people are joking. its a real problem of mine. I always think people are serious lol. I have had so many an awkward situation from this alone. this guy was at a party once and I didn't know him and he joked about me not being allowed a cookie on the table when I out of curtusy asked if I could have one. he said no so I stopped in my tracks and we stared at each other for a whole minute or so before he realised I was seriously that dumb lol
