peter molyneux was the genius behind many games of the 90's such as populous, theme park and the sims. microsoft wanted him so they bought his company but he left before hand. then they manipulated him into a lengthy contract and ever since he's been stuck working for microsoft. tinyflops has used him as the excuse for all their poor games and taken credit for every success he made like fable for example. peter keeps making awesome ideas but microsoft wont let him do what he wants and any good ideas he has are ruined by microsoft cutting the budget. they very much want him to do things for them but only on their terms. when it's call of duty they let him do what he wants but he can't do much with the limited scope of a shooter. when he has his own ideas like spore they take away all the money and rush it through never advertising it or marketing it in any way. a lot of these games have grown popularity with the alternative crowd and game reviewers but microsoft just wants to sell the same tired crap to everyone.
