Xbox One Backward Compatibility: Two new games go live

Frogger and Galaga Legions DX are now available to play and come in the same week that saw Altered Beast, Comix Zone and The Cave join the official lineup.

There has been a lack of heavy-hitters in the past few weeks, although Microsoft has confirmed that they now only release Backward Compatible titles when they are ready.

Fans hopeful of seeing past Modern Warfare games added to Backwards Compatibility may been in for some disappointment as it appears Activision may have a different plan for their back catalogue.

Fans were excited to learn that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare looks set to be the rumoured title that will be part of the Call Of Duty infinite Warfare Legacy Edition.

However, it appears that as this will be a remastered title, there are now no guarantees it will ever become Backward Compatible.

Good news and bad news then I'm not personally a fan of COD but it is shitty of them not to just post the original for goodness sake! They have FINALLY released some more backwards compatible games for the darn console but I doubt they are going to actually continue to sort out new ones or at least not ones people want knowing Mircosoft Oh well. What do you guys think about the backwards compatibility of the Xbox One? You disappointed about COD? Let me know!

they went through this before. give them time and they'll release a new xbox you have to buy that's backwards compatible. damn sharks

yep it is frustrating just how many xbox games I can't play coz it doesn't work on the 360 and even when it does it sounds like I am recking it and you can't get a new one coz of the terrible red ring soooo...

it's emulating an xbox. that means that a lot of stuff doesn't work and other stuffs requires the processors to translate on the fly. it's working twice as hard to produce half the content. technically it's not even genuine backwards compatibility. we all know how microsoft operating systems fail to run software built for previous versions.

screw the old games. new games are better on xbox

especially since most of the new games are just the old games remade

why don't they just stick an xbox and xbox 360 in the xbox 1 like playstation

because the xbox 1 is nowhere near powerful enough to do that
