Nintendo Announces NX Console to Launch March 2017 Worldwide

The report reads: "For our dedicated video game platform business, Nintendo is currently developing a gaming platform codenamed "NX" with a brand-new concept. NX will be launched in March 2017 globally." No further details about the NX, or the console's concept and design, were revealed.

Nintendo first announced plans for a new console in March 2015. In late 2015, reports from The Wall Street Journal pointed to a possible 2016 release date for Nintendo's new console, with suggestions that software development kits were already sent to third-party developers.

In related news, Nintendo announced that the upcoming new Legend of Zelda game will be released simultaneously for the Wii U and NX in 2017, pushing the game's launch date further away from its original 2015 release. The company also revealed it will be releasing Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing games for mobile devices, expanding its repertoire of apps following the release of the Miitomo social networking app

looks like we are not only going to have to wait a few more years for the NX but we aint getting that Zelda we wanted till much later than we expected and more bloody app games UGH! I hope they don't end up as just another company that does only app games coz it gets them more money coz then I would be PISSED! What do you guys think? Are you gonna get the NX or are you gonna skip it?
