Stardew Valley will get cooperative multiplayer and new late game content

The biggest talking point is that cooperative multiplayer is definitely coming, and it might not take too long either.

In addition to cooperative play, localisation for other, non-English speaking countries is on the cards. In the more immediate future is version 1.1, which will roll out a bunch of new gameplay additions and changes, such as:

More late-game content
New farm buildings
New crops
New artisan goods
New advanced farming/producing mechanics
Shane and Emily will be marriage candidates. They will also have more events and dialogue as a result.
More marriage content for all spouses
More events for the non-marriage NPC’s
Improvements/Additions to mining and combat
Ability to move buildings and other convenience features
More bug fixes
More secrets
More small, fun touches to the world

I haven't had a chance to buy this game yet but this makes me even more excited to get into it. Maybe you could join me on a multi game sometime? Have you played the game yet? Are you excited for these new features? let me know!

i can see it now. hundreds of spring crops planted in winter

i really wanna play this game so bad

i love farming games and personally the harvest moon series seems to be the trend setter that gets everything right while all the others merely follow badly in their footsteps. for me this game looks very interesting but i doubt i'll have the time needed to play such a game nowadays

this is so true and the sad truth of gaming as you get older. I wish I had more time for games but more an dmore just keep shoving themselves in my face and most have 100s of hours of gameplay time now. How do they expect me to get through these?! HOW?!

Plus when you play HM it's more like a game than a sim so I wouldn't compare it to the likes of farming simulator BLEH!

also pc allows for mods

mods of this would be awesomew

weird alien plants and animals

you could have a mario themed farm with toads as crops and koopas as animals

or better yet a pokemon themed farm
